Armando Garcia Luna is a Chemical Engineer with a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Southern California. His postgraduate studies were under the supervision of Professor George Olah, Novel Price of chemistry. After a post doctorate work at the Universite de Bourgogne at Dijon, He returns to Mexico as a Research Director of Quimisi, a Chemical-Pharmaceutical company. After five years He establish his own Consulting firm, Asesores Químicos Especializados (AQE) based in Monterrey Nuevo Leon with operations in Mexico and Latin America in the field of research and development of new products and competitive intelligence. His cooperation with Grupo de Cementos de Chihuahua date back to 1999 when AQE was responsible for developing the area of R&D and in 2004 He accepted the position of corporate director of R&D at the research laboratory based in Yverdon-les-Bains in Switzerland. Dr. García Luna is also a professor at the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon and has published more than 20 scientific articles, 7 patents and development of more than 25 new products for the industry in general.
