The doping of titania nanoparticles for increased photocatalytic activity
Gianfranco Pacchioni (born 1954) obtained his PhD at the Freie Universität Berlin in 1984. He has published more than 350 papers and given more than 200 invited lectures on the topic of oxide materials; he has received various awards including the Humboldt Preis in 2005. He is Director of the Department of Materials Science at the University Milano Bicocca.
